Rubtek AS (“we”, “us”) operates the Buddy — Travel Companion app (“Buddy”, “the App”).
Buddy does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device. We have no servers, no user database, and no way to see your information.

We do not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, social media trackers, or any other services that collect personal information.
Buddy offers optional paid subscriptions (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled by the respective store and RevenueCat. We do not collect, see, or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
Buddy may send local notifications (reminders, alerts) on your device if you enable them. These are generated and scheduled entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server.
Buddy does not require registration, login, or any credentials. There is no account system. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account — not to Buddy. If you switch devices, you can restore your subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
Your personal data (settings, diary, emergency info) is stored only on your device. If you delete the app or switch devices without backing up, your data is lost. Buddy offers a backup/export feature in Settings — we recommend using it regularly. We cannot recover lost data.
Buddy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
